Rest In Peace Tiaina Baul “Junior” Seau, Jr.  Junior’s family has agreed to allow his brain to be studied.  There may be so much we can learn about mental illness and concussions from his passing. Oh, and ESPN, you can stop showing the clip of his grieving mother any time now.

Let’s Be Honest…

Our unfiltered thoughts on the past week in sports…

We’d like to begin by wishing Cam Netwon a happy belated birthday. His cake is just as extra as he is.

Who do we have to talk to to get rid of the talking basketball and “fast” rapper commercials during NBA games?

You have to give it up for the Memphis Grizzlies for getting as far as they did in the NBA playoffs.  Then you have to take some away for how the played in Game 7.

Let’s hope Russell Westbrook doesn’t see what kind of company he’s keeping with that triple-double in Game 7.  The last thing the Thunder needs is for him to get too full of himself…again. Read the rest of this entry »

The best NC State and Debbie Yow could do is Mark Gottfried?! Talk about settling.

Robin told you Debbie Yow was gangsta!

The NCAA Men’s Final needs to take notes from the Women’s, not just for physicality and points but the time aired. The Women’s Final ended right around 11 pm, perfect.

Is Skylar Diggins of Notre Dame the hottest bachelorette right now? She was being sweet talked by Weezy and Chris Brown.

The Power Shift That Wasn’t

The NBA has been a whirlwind the past few days with so many big names and small names changing teams that it will take a few days for everyone to sort out who went where.  The landscape has changed and seemingly the balance of power in the league has shifted east.  When the East is interesting, the league is interesting so this has to be a good thing right?
